3 Days Dry Fasting

In Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, we believe the spirit to be supreme. As humans, we move and live in the physical, but the spirit of a man is superior. This is how God communicates and interacts with man. (Read Romans Chapter 8)

To keep this line of communication and interaction open, Our Supreme Holy Father Leader Olumba Olumba Obu admonished that every man must adhere to a strict life of positive energy. He teaches us the value of fasting, abstaining from food and drink to focus on prayer and seeking God's will. While food, drinks and merriments of the flesh are good for our physical growth, the physical energy interferes with our spiritual self. This is why every week, BCS brethren fast every Thursday for 12hrs (6am to 6 pm), and thrice a year, we observe three days (72hrs) of fasting. Through this practice, we can testify that…
