FoodBank & Fresh Food Distribution

With the support of the Felix Project (London) and Fareshare (Manchester), we provide food provisions to the local community every Friday from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Our Fresh Food Distribution initiative, launched on August 16, 2024, ensures weekly Friday drop-offs at our Elephant and Castle Bethel, and there will be drop-offs at our Manchester Bethel soon. Over time, we have expanded our reach, growing from strength to strength in supporting local residents and homeless hostels such as St Mungo’s and Providence Row. St Mungo’s hostel regularly collects fresh food produce from us, helping to provide essential nourishment to those in need.

Between August and December 2024, we distributed 1,188 food parcels, with an additional 323 parcels provided in January 2025. To ensure fair access, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis and request that service users register with us. Our efforts continue to receive recognition, such as from the Southwark Food Action Alliance, which is happy to learn more about our work and impact on the community.
