Anger-Free Day: A Legacy of Peace as Embodied by the Supernatural Teacher Leader Olumba Olumba Obu

Updated: Feb 20

The call for peace and emotional discipline has never been more urgent in a world filled with strife, misunderstandings, and conflict. Recognising the power of inner tranquillity, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Supernatural Teacher, has championed the need to rise above anger through His exemplary lifestyle and divine teachings. He has transformed this ability into a spiritual and moral initiative, encouraging self-control, patience, and love in human interactions.

The Essence of Anger-Free Day

Anger Free Day is more than just a symbolic observance; it is a call to action for individuals to practice emotional restraint, foster forgiveness, and cultivate love daily. Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Supernatural Teacher, teaches that anger is one of the greatest hindrances to spiritual growth and harmonious coexistence.

The Holy Bible warns about the dangers of anger:

“Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” (Ecclesiastes 7:9, KJV)

His teachings emphasise that anger breeds destruction, misunderstanding, and negative energy, ultimately leading to chaos in homes, workplaces, and communities. This is why, on February 14, 1942, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu challenged anyone who could provoke or cause him to become angry. Such a person would receive a substantial reward. This is why Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has dedicated this day to conscious reflection and self-discipline. Members are encouraged to actively replace anger with kindness, patience, and unconditional love—core tenets of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu’s teachings.

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, in His divine wisdom, has consistently warned humanity about the dangers of anger. He teaches that:

1. Anger is a Tool of Darkness – It opens the door to hatred, violence, and spiritual regression.

“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.” (Psalm 37:8, KJV)

2. Forgiveness is Divine – True strength lies in forgiving, just as Christ forgave His persecutors.

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” (Colossians 3:13, KJV)

3. Love Conquers All – Only through divine love can individuals and societies overcome the forces of negativity and discord.

“Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.” (Proverbs 10:12, KJV)

4. Anger Destroys Relationships – Whether in families, workplaces, or communities, anger creates barriers and erodes trust.

“A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.” (Proverbs 15:18, KJV)

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu has admonished that by adhering to these teachings, peace will flourish within individuals and society.

Anger Free Day as a Global Call for Peace

Leader Olumba Olumba Obu initiated Anger-Free Day through his exemplary lifestyle and teachings. It is observed within the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. However, Anger Free Day transcends religious and cultural boundaries, a universal reminder that everyone can control their emotions and choose peace over hostility.

As we observe this year’s Anger Free Day, we encourage everyone to:

- Remain calm and composed in all situations, no matter the provocation.

“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” (Proverbs 16:32, KJV)

- Practice deep reflection and meditation to cultivate inner peace.

- Use kind words and actions to resolve conflicts rather than reacting with hostility.

“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” (Proverbs 15:1, KJV)

- Engage in acts of charity and love, demonstrating compassion to others.

- Spread awareness about the importance of anger management in personal and social life.

As more individuals embrace this principle of anger-free living, a ripple effect of love, understanding, and harmony spreads, creating a world where patience replaces rage and forgiveness triumphs over resentment.

“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” (Matthew 5:9, KJV)
